The Standard should be set this high!” Fabulous place!!! The host was incredibly hospitable. He gave us suggestion on tourist destinations and roads to take and the specifics as well as places for Dinner and great Pubs. Amenities were outstanding. Best B and B I have EVER stayed in!!
We stayed 2 nights, our room was lovely, clean and spacious. Amy & Paul were wonderful hosts, helpful with our questions, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, best we had anywhere on our Ireland trip. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends.
One of the best B&B’s that we have ever experienced, and at a reasonable price. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. The location is a short walk to the center of Galway. The breakfast menu was as good as you would find at a good restaurant and the food preparation was excellent! Highly recommend the Petra House B&B!
“Outstanding B&B” This is an amazing Bed and Breakfast. In fact, may be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. (Scones were to die for) Room is beautiful with newly remodeled bathroom. Amy & Paul are wonderful hosts. We received excellent info on what to see and where to go. We highly recommend Petra house. It’s charming and very comfortable.
It has been many years since I last stayed here and I was hoping the standard would still be high. I needed have worried. Bright, modern room, excellent facilities and lovely breakfast with a huge choice. I won’t leave it as long the next time to spend a night in Galway city and return to Petra House.
The perfect place to stay” Amy & Paul make sure you are welcomed into their house and take an interest in what you are doing in the city. Paul went out of his way to give us directions to everything we wanted to do and offered spot on suggestions for restaurants etc. We were actually spoiled that we made this our first destination in Ireland….
